1. Sentences
Japanese sentences usually consists of 3 phrases which are (1)noun phrase, (2) verb phrase, or (3) an adjective phrase.
例：1) 時計です/ 日曜日です/ ラうさんの誕生日です
　　2) 買いました/来ました/行きました/あげました。
　　3) 赤いです/親切です

1.2 When the subject needs to be mentioned, the particle が is added to the noun or pronoun.
例：1) 上田さんが来ました　
1.3 When the object needs to be mentioned, the particle は is added to the noun or pronoun.
例：1) この鞄は上田さんのです。
　　2) 今日は母さんの誕生日です。
1.4 A verb phrase is often preceded by (1) an object or (2) an adverbial phrase.
例：1) 映画を見ました。
　　2) 十二時にあいってください。
